Shared Remembrances
We were saddened to learn of Sharon's death. She was a wonderful person and a dear friend! As Dee Dee and I reflected on our time together at Pope and living in Woodbridge, we were shocked to realize what a short time it was. Actually, only a few years of overlap out of our careers and broader lives. But they were years that had a huge impact on our family and Sharon was an important part of that. Sharon had an openness and a love of life that she shared with everyone who knew her and she nurtured Ryan and Rich with that special gift, enriching both of them in their formative years. She was often carefree, yet always caring. She lived life to its fullest. It somehow seems appropriate that she left this life in the season of Easter because she was a person of the Resurrection and the joyful life that makes possible. She is at peace... You've certainly earned our respect and admiration for your strength as you so lovingly and steadfastly cared for her during these years when she was ill. You've borne a heavy burden with dignity and selfless devotion. We'll look forward to seeing the website when it's available and getting the info on the memorial service. Wishing God's Peace for you and Raegen in the days ahead.
God Bless,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. When I think of Sharon, I have a smile on my face. She was so considerate of others, positive and a lot of fun. I was always amazed at her insights of the books the club was reading. Most of all, she stood with me when I wanted a new member to be included in the club and I will never forget and respect her for it. Our deepest sympathy,
I know Sharon was ill for some time but somehow it doesn’t make the new less shocking or painful. You two were such a wonderful pair. I cannot fathom your pain but I know if is in proportion to the love you had for Sharon, it is pretty sever. So, I will keep you and Raegen in my prayers. Sharon will be missed! I will always remember the giggles we shared! What an awesome lady, called home too soon.
